I have health insurance through my employer, but was reading that if you are within certain income guidelines, up to 400% over the poverty limit, you will receive a subsidy towards health insurance. So, I did the rough math, and the government option with the subsidy would be cheaper than what I pay for private insurance now. So, will I be able to decline my employer's health insurance, and instead take the lower cost option offered by the government?

America is the new cheap. Just remember you get what you pay for.
