my dad has been in the hospital for 17 days now. he has cancer of prosate, bladder, water in lungs, swollen legs, and his one kidney is not working and the other is poorly working. he will have a visiting nurse to help my mom. he has a walker now and a cathita. is is true that the insurance won't let him remain in the hospital beacause they can no longer help him. my mom won't say it. she is 72 and he is 74. my friends in nursing say it"s beacuse he is terminal. MY QUESTION IS THIS TRUE?????

yes its true! they only get a certain amount of money for each stay and too bad if you need to stay longer. look into hospice for him, it sounds like he should qualify. what about an extended care facility? he may be too sick for your mom even with a nurse to take care of.

how can i get rid of the skin when i dont have health insurance? mexico?
so i lost 150 lbs my skins not too loose but more than i should be its not as devestatingly hidious as some ppl on tv but its there. What to do if u"can't pay the mortgage" & no health insurance?
What is used to mean is you choose between a risk of medical bills OR keeping your house. NOW this would be a choice between going to prison for not paying a fine????? Or keeping your house? How is this not a worse situation?
