im 21, a senior in college, i have bad credit...and health issues that i cannot possibly pay for out of pocket. i dont know what to do; since the new bill has passed or whatever will that mean affordable health insurance? if not what can i do or what company will approve me?

Can I still get COBRA health insurance coverage?

I know I have 63 days after I recieve the letter asking me if I want to go on COBRA health insurance coverage to tell them officially whether I want to get COBRA. If I buy my own individual private insurance before that 63 day period ends, can I still get COBRA within the 63 days if I change my mind and want to use COBRA instead of the private insurance I already bought? No you can not make up for errors on your 2007 return by making up for the error on your 2008 return. You would have to file an 2007 amended return (1040X). I doubt that it is going to be worthwhile. Health insurance premiums are deductions from taxable income not tax credits applied to your calculated tax liability. Plus your medical deductions must exceed 7.5% of your adjusted gross income to have any effect on your final tax calculation. That being said don't take my word for it. I am advising you based on typical circumstances. I don't know the specifics of your taxable income or the extent of your schedule A itemized deductions. Always seek professional guidance.

I have a vision insurance policy and i also have a health insurance policy that has a vision plan on there two. So i guess my question is can you use both at the same time to cover expenses?
