I am 22 years old, and I think I need to buy health insurance for myself and get off my parents plan, i am still in shcool and dont have a job, what can i do?

Most group insurance plans allow dependents to be covered while a full time student untill age 24 or 25. Have your parents check the the specifics of their health plan. If you are only going to school Part Time, and do not have any health issues, consider whats called a "catastrophic" individual health plan. It has a high deductible, with moderate copay options which will keep you covered for any nasty young person injuries (the most likely claims someone your age will get-like broken bones snowboarding, twisted ankle hiking etc). In other words, the odds of you getting cancer are pretty rare, so why pay high rates? Look up on the internet "individual health plans" and compare. If you have any questions about the terminology, ask again here! Your monthly premiums will be pretty low. Another option: look up Health Savings Accounts.

If you just had a physical exam 2 months prior to applying for health insurance, do you need another one?
I just had a physical exam done about two months ago, but now i am applying for health insurance. Am i going to need to have another exam done?

Most likely no. Insurance companies rarely require an exam except in certain circumstances and when they do an exam within 2 months would usually be acceptable.

How soon after I join the Air Force will health insurance become active for my Wife?
I need to know if health insurance starts for my wife as soon as I start bootcamp, as soon as bootcamp ends or tech school begins or what? Also what kind of benefits are included in the Air Force health insurance. Please help if you know anything.

as soon as she is entered into DEERS she is covered under Tricare Standard,. she cannot enroll into Prime until she has her ID( you will send her a packet in the mail within the first month of being there giving her everything she needs to do this).

Does the new Health Care bill exempt low wage earners from mandatory health insurance?
I haven't heard much from that front or whether or not there is still a mandatory health insurance, but I can't find what I want to know. Anyone help?

When will the Tea Party realize that they've been fighting for health insurance companies all along?
When will all Republicans realize they are just the voice of corporate America? Fighting against financial regulation (when in fact, lack of regulation in the derivatives market caused the recession), fighting against health care reform (when in fact, no one suffers from a Public Option except insurance companies). Democrats aren't an exception to this by any means, but they're much less extreme about it.

How my step father obtain needed heart medication in North Carolina with no health insurance or other resource?
Does anyone know any programs he can obtain his heart medications in North Carolina? He has no health insurance and is currently unemployed. I know there are programs out there, I just don't know the names of any. Thanks.
