How do you get affordable Health Insurance at age 64?
I moved from AZ to CA and I am retired but very little income. How can I afford to pay for health insurance? Are there any organizations that can suggest places to contact.

California has MediCal. It is the state assistance Welfare Health Care. Other than that you are not going to find Health Insurance anywhere at age 64 for under $500 a month. Keep your fingers crossed until you are eligible for Medicare (1st day of the month you turn 65) and get a good supplement (about $107 a month) or an HMO depending on the type of coverage you want. It will take effect the same day as Medicare. Sad situation, but one that faces most of my clients.

How long do i get health insurance after not being a full-time student?
I was a full time student last semester but i couldn't afford it this semester,...is there a grace period that students get health insurance for or does it run out the last day of the semester?

Usually you need to reconfirm after each semester. Make sure not to get anything major before you know if you have it or not. UPS is always a good part-time job with great full-time benefits if your in need of them.

If your spouse recieves tricare health insurance and you are the sponser can you remove them prior to divorce?
If a spouse has been covered for 14 years under a retired service member's tricare health insurance, can sponser remove spouse at will ?

Hmm. That is a good one. You should be contacting your insurance provider. They will have all of the answers. In my case in Canada, ( a long time ago divorce), I cut my spouse off right away. However, there was a grace period of one month. When you are talking about divorce stuff then you should be seeing a lawyer. Your spouse could and probably will want that coverage to continue. Unfortunately, in divorce cases, EVERYTHING becomes negotiable. Good Luck

Does anyone have Atlantis Health Care Insurance which is provided through the Freelancers Union?
I just wanted to find out if these plans are good and worthwhile. I have never heard of this health insurance and I guess I would like to hear about other people that have used this health insurance. Good and bad. Any info would help thanks!

What is the best private health insurance company for a family in Qld Australia?
I am looking at joining up for private health insurance to cover my husband and myself as well as our 2 kids aged 12 and 10. With so many policies and companies to chose from and all the jargon they use, it is making this difficult.We need basic hospital cover and with the kids full dental cover is a must.my husband has had heart problems in the past so need to be covered for this as well.Not wanting all the bells and whistles, just the best deal for young familes.
